Position Overview: As a Forklift Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of various types of forklift equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our clients can depend on their equipment for safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and find effective solutions to enhance the performance of the equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting on electrical, propane and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies within the forklift and material handling sector.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a forklift technician or in a similar mechanical role.
• Strong understanding of forklift operations, systems, and safety protocols.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment, and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.
